HEALTH, SAFETY AND TRAINING

G:WORKS Construction is committed to meeting and surpassing both their moral and legal obligation to comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all appropriate regulations. It is the policy of the company to ensure, as far as is reasonably practical, the health, safety and welfare of its employees whilst at work along with that of those who may be affected by their actions or emissions.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

G:WORKS construction work closely with Construction Skills to produce a yearly training plan, make sure that on site operatives continue to develop their careers Whilst maintaining/renewing their current qualifications.
CSCS & CPCS ACCREDITED
All of our on site operatives are cscs and/or cpcs accredited,
holding dumper and roller cpcs cards as a minimum,
and in addition all plant operators will hold the relative cpcs.
Site supervisors/managers will hold iosh managing safely certificate
or the site management safety training scheme qualification.

APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME
G:WORKS ARE ACTIVELY INVOLVED WITH THE APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME,
ENCOURAGING THE YOUNGER GENERATION TO BECOME SKILLED
IN THEIR TRADE OVER A TWO OR THREE YEAR PERIOD.

IN HOUSE TEAM

A dedicated in house team are responsible for overseeing the day to day compliance and with the help of an outside health and safety consultants, G:WORKS Construction pride themselves on their positive Health & Safety culture and their continued development and awareness of its workforce.

ONGOING DEVELOPMENT

It is not only the on site employees that receive development opportunities provided by G:WORKS, our in house safety team have benefited from the NEBOSH certificate and NEBOSH diploma qualifications.

Whilst working under our experienced Quantity Surveyors, trainee surveyors have completed the Higher National Certificate in Construction and progressed to become an integral part of the team.
